My friend pulled up to this place to take me to it and I was scared but OMG!! This was my kind of place. I loved the fact you can get just a little bit of this or that! The burgers were so good, my favorite probably being the cheesesteak one. The French fries were awesome. I’m still thinking about the food weeks later and I want to get back as soon as possible just to go here. Good prices and good service.

Green Dot is a staple before every game or event downtown. The atmosphere is that of an older horse race betting tavern. Everytime we visit the service is always super quick, and staff are friendly. The slider always taste the same as they did the last time. One of few places that truly have spectacular taste and/or quality for such a simple food item. This is one of the only places that you can go to get sat, served, and eat all within a half hour or so. The prices here are also pretty reasonable. Truly recommend stopping in for a bite or a drink before your next game or event downtown.

Ten of us were hanging out in Detroit for the day. Someone I know who is a vegetarian had recently been here and I asked how he liked it because vegetarians always have restaurant challenges when it's not a completely vegetarian restaurant. He said he had been here multiple times and liked all it had to offer so I suggested it to our group of 10....who had various eating preferences.... including 2 more vegetarians. A mixed group is often very hard to please everyone. We kept forgetting the name of the place and one of our meat eating people said finally said "ok...let's go to the Peapod Vegetable place. I knew he meant Green Dot Stables so we headed over and I kept laughing the whole way about the Peapod Vegetable thing. After a day of finding random parking spots in Downtown the idea of its own free parking lot was one of the appealing features. Everyone liked the casual funky vibe and found the food and drink offerings fun. I had a West Coast beer that had a sage flavor to it. Very unique. Things were served to our table of 10 oddly. Great service, quick seating, awesome food! Our waiter was kind... took a while to come back with our check but other than that he provided great service. The items come out separately, which makes the experience interesting when dining with others. The chicken sliders came out quick and the Caesar salad slider was good! The fish and Philly sliders took a little longer but we're worth the wait. I would ask the cheese whiz to be left off the Philly. The French Fries (Cajun and Truffle) were my absolute favorite! We had a blue cheese dipping sauce and ranch with both crazy good with the fries. Thank you for a nice, quick, tasty meal on a Saturday night.

The service was good waitress was very attentive. The saloon type of atmosphere was a nice change. The food was decent nothing to really brag about. We went on a Monday early they weren’t really busy. I’m glad I tried it because it’s a Detroit staple. The prices are reasonable 3 sliders an order of fries and a soda $19.
